Grandma's Soft Peanut Butter M&M Cookies

Grandma's Soft Peanut Butter M&M Cookie recipe yields 24 thick, soft, and incredibly delicious cookies - just like grandma makes them! It uses basic pantry ingredients and takes just 7 minutes to bake. Easily the best peanut butter M&M cookies ever! Vegetarian.

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (or these silicone baking sheets that I use).
  • Into a bowl, add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well-combined.
  • In a separate large bowl, cream the butter for 1-2 minutes, then add granulated sugar. Mix again for 2 minutes until combined.
  • Add in peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  • Slowly add the dry mixture to the large bowl. Gently mix until just combined, then fold in the M&M's. Cover and chill for 2 hours.
  • Divide the cookie dough into 1 tbsp "balls" and place on the lined baking sheet. Press the dough slightly to flatten.
  • Bake cookies for about 7-9 minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack, then let the cookies cool completely. ENJOY!
