I first made this recipe during a super bowl party we attended in college. And let me tell you, everyone there loved it! Using a combination of sharp cheddar cheese and mild colby cheese, this Extra Cheesy Hot Nacho Dip is the easiest 10-minute nacho cheese sauce you'll EVER make!
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add in flour and stir for about 1 minute, or until lightly browned.
Add in milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring mixture to a boil, then stir for 3-5 minutes, or until thickened.
Turn the heat to low, then add shredded cheddar and colby cheese. Stir until the cheeses have melted. Add the hot sauce, then stir until combined. If desired, add in additional milk to thin.
Pour the dip mixture into a serving bowl. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
Taste and adjust seasonings, if needed. Serve immediately. ENJOY!
