This Masala Chai Spiced Overnight Oats tastes just like a creamy bowl of authentic Indian chai latte! Made with old-fashioned rolled oats, black tea, milk, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, and cardamom, this overnight oatmeal is perfectly sweet and spicy. It can also be served warm or cold - delicious both ways! Naturally gluten-free, and can easily be made dairy-free and vegetarian too!
Add all the ingredients into a large glass container. Shake until combined.
Cover the jar and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. Feel free to add the toppings before refrigerating or just before serving.
When ready to serve, empty the overnight oats into a serving bowl to heat, or eat the cold overnight oats straight from the jar! Add more milk if a thinner consistency is desired.
This Indian Masala Chai Spiced Overnight Oats can be prepared 5 days ahead if stored in the refrigerator. ENJOY!
