- 1 refrigerated chicken pot pie
Instructions
How to reheat FROZEN chicken pot pie in the oven (recommended)
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Remove the frozen chicken pot pie from its packaging and place it on a baking sheet.
- Cover the pie with aluminum foil and bake it in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is hot throughout. Allow the pot pie to cool before serving. Enjoy!
How to reheat REFRIGERATED chicken pot pie in the oven (recommended)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C).
- Place the chicken pot pie in an oven-safe baking dish. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the pie is heated through.
- Remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown on top. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
How to reheat chicken pot pie on the stove
- Remove the chicken pot pie from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature.
- Heat a large skillet or non-stick pan over medium-high heat on the stove.
- Place the chicken pot pie directly in the skillet or pan. If it doesn't fit, you can cut the pie into portions.
- Cook for about 10 minutes, flipping occasionally until heated through and golden brown. The exact time will vary depending on the size of your chicken pot pie.
- If desired, add a tablespoon of butter or olive oil to the pan while heating to create a crispier crust.
How to reheat chicken pot pie in the microwave
- Cut the chicken pot pie into slices and place it on a microwave-safe plate.
- Microwave it for 2 minutes, then check the temperature. If it's not heated through, microwave it for another 30 seconds (repeat as needed until you reach desired temperature).
- Repeat this process with the rest of the pie and enjoy!
Notes
Reheated chicken pot pie should be heated to an internal temperature of 165°F. Use a digital instant-read food thermometer to check that the center of the chicken pot pie has reached this temperature before serving.
