Is This Sugar-Free Jello Recipe Vegan?

No. Jello is typically made from gelatin, which is a protein that comes from animal bones, hides, and connective tissues.

Fun fact: Gelatin is sugar-free, low in calories, and has no fat. It also contains 17 amino acids and is rich in vitamins and minerals.

My favorite gelatin brands are Vital Proteins Unflavored Gelatin or Great Lakes Gelatin (not sponsored).

This jello recipe is a great sugar-free alternative!

What Sweetener Do You Use in Sugar Free Jello?

This recipe relies on monk fruit allulose blend to sweeten the jello. It is a sugar-free sweetener alternative that is keto-friendly!

Technically… yes you can freeze Jello. However, it will change the texture of the Jello and I do not recommend freezing this sugar-free jello.
