6-Ingredient Crispy Tofu Recipe
Over the last few years, I’ve been looking for new ways to incorporate more plant-based proteins into my diet – and this 6-ingredient crispy tofu recipe has quickly become a favorite in our house.
This dish is a go-to for busy weeknights when I don’t have a lot of time to cook, but still want something tasty and satisfying. The crispy texture of the tofu pairs perfectly with the simple seasoning, and I love how versatile this recipe is! You can serve it on its own as a main dish, or use it as a protein-packed addition to stir-fries, salads, and more.

What You Need to Make 6-Ingredient Crispy Tofu
- 1 block extra firm tofu, pressed for 30 min & cubed
- salt & pepper, to taste
- seasonings (red pepper flakes/chili powder/garlic powder all work great), OPTIONAL
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 Tbsp oil
- 1/2 Tbsp Moore’s Marinade in original flavor, or low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sriracha
How to Make 6-Ingredient Crispy Tofu
- In a medium bowl, add the tofu, salt & pepper, seasonings (if using), cornstarch, and oil. Toss to combine.
- Air fry at 400F for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, whisk together Moore’s Marinade with sriracha. Pour this over the tofu mixture after the 10 min is up, then air fry for an additional 3-5 minutes until crispy.
- Serve warm over a bowl of rice or noodles. ENJOY!!
