The One Vegan Restaurant in Tulum to Avoid
Co.Con Amor
Despite the pretty good reviews online, I was disappointed with my visit to Co.Con Amor.
Compared to all the other restaurants, Co.Con Amor’s food offerings were not at all flavorful. In fact, all the savory items we ordered tasted very bland and we had to request salt and pepper to make them taste decent.
As a disclaimer, I certainly hope that my experience is not the majority, but on our visit, the staff was very curt and not at all friendly. We waited over 45 minutes for the server to come by and take our order and the server added a very large tip to herself even though we experienced very poor service overall. When we asked if this was standard, she said yes. We came to find out later from other travelers that this was not the case.
The place itself was pretty cute and I like the live music. However, my husband and I agree that we would likely not return.
