Glazed Carrots = The Easiest Holiday Side Dish!

I don’t know about you, but it seems to me that the holidays bring in lots of potlucks (so fun!) My husband and I love gathering with friends around food – but too often, I know how easy it is to get overwhelmed with “what do I bring?” Well, worry not my friends! As a huge fan of easy (and ridiculously delicious!) side dishes, I’m here to bring you another crowd-favorite that only takes 25 minutes to make!

These Maple Garlic Glazed Carrots are THE perfect side dish to bring to your next holiday potluck! With only 6 main ingredients, you won’t believe how flavorful and tender these carrots are – a holiday family favorite for sure! Plus, while I serve this the most during the holidays, there’s no reason you can’t make them any time of the year – it’s THAT good!

What You Need to Make Maple Garlic Glazed Carrots

  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, sub olive oil if DF
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup, sub honey
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • parsley, chopped (for garnish)

How to Make Maple Garlic Glazed Carrots

  1. Preheat oven to 425F. Lightly grease a large baking pan with olive oil or butter (or use these silicone baking mat).
  2. Place the cut carrots in a single layer. Set aside.
  3. Add butter and minced garlic into a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir for two minutes, then remove from heat. Add in the maple syrup, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Drizzle the sauce evenly over the carrots. Lightly toss to combine.
  5. Bake until the carrots are tender, about 20-25 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately. ENJOY!

    Well shoot! i bought too much carrots and decided to make this as a side for a meal with our guests and everyone loved it! I guess i know what i’m making with the rest of the carrots 🙂
