This Kerala Beef Curry recipe is so easy to make! This is an original recipe created by my friend from Kerala. I dare say this beef curry recipe more authentic (and healthier!) than your Indian restaurant take-out! Just 30 minutes of cook time, and you’ll get a delicious, perfectly tender beef curry that’s ready to be paired with a bowl of warm rice or toasted naan. This recipe is gluten-free and dairy-free. Yields 4 servings.

A good friend of mine from Kerala recently sent me her recipe of their famous (and authentic) Kerala style beef curry. So naturally, I made the dish that very night.

All I could say is “OH. MY. GOODNESS. This is SO good.”

This easy Kerala style beef curry recipe takes less than an hour to make. And the result? Incredibly tender cuts of beef marinated in the most flavorful spices. Pair it with a bowl of fluffy, warm Basmati rice, and get ready because this beef curry recipe is about to BLOW YOUR MIND.

Ready for the recipe?

Side note: Eating this Kerala beef curry makes me think of a similar Indonesian beef dish called Rendang Sapi that I grew up eating! Though of course, each one has its own distinct flavor profiles 🙂
