Is Matcha Good with Lemonade?
Yes! This Matcha Lemonade Starbucks Copycat recipe is perfect for you if you love the Arnold Palmer drink (which is half black tea and half lemonade). Instead of the black tea, matcha lemonade uses, well, matcha! It’s such a balanced, refreshing drink!
How Much Caffeine is in Starbucks Matcha Lemonade?
Depending on how much matcha powder you use, the caffeine level will increase. Typically, an 8oz cup of matcha tea has about 70mg of caffeine.
What You Need to Make Matcha Lemonade Starbucks Copycat

What Lemonade is Used at Starbucks?
Starbucks uses its own lemonade concentrate made of water, lemon juice, sugar, and lemon oil to make its lemonade-based drinks.
So while you can’t buy this exact lemonade, a lot of people think Starbucks’ lemonade tastes just like Minute Maid or Simply Lemonade!
What Matcha is Used at Starbucks?
For all their tea-based drinks, Starbucks exclusively uses Teavana® blends. In their Matcha Lemonade recipe, they use the Teavana® matcha green tea.
In this Matcha Lemonade Starbucks Copycat recipe, I made the sweetener optional because it’s plenty sweet for me already, but feel free to use simple syrup, honey, sugar, Stevia, or other sweeteners!
