The BEST Thick & Fudgy Brownies

Fudgy Brownies > Cakey Brownies
By this time, most of you already know how fond I am of chocolate. Not only do I make lots of recipes with chocolate, I also am known to sneak in my famous fudgy brownies into the movie theatre (sorry not sorry). But I mean, come on. Who doesn’t love a good chocolate dessert to go with that intense climax scene where the hero fights the bad guys, right??
Today, I’m happy to share with you the BEST brownies recipe. In fact, I think you’ll love it so much, I even dare say it’s the ONLY brownies recipe you’ll ever need! At least, if you are on team FUDGY brownies as opposed to CAKEY brownies. You can debate me, but I stand on my position that fudgy brownies are forever better than cakey brownies. Who’s with me??

Tips & Tricks for the BEST Brownies
– Use better butter: The key to better brownies is, in fact, as simple as using better butter (say that 10 times fast!) By opting for good-quality butter, you increase that richness factor every perfect brownie showcases. Personally, I recommend Kerrygold Irish Butter or Land O’ Lakes (not sponsored, just big fans!)
– Don’t overbake: I cannot emphasize this enough. It’s much better to take the brownies out of the oven too early than it is to leave them in for too long. The brownies will continue to firm up as they cool, so an overbaked brownies will mean dry brownies.
– WAIT: This is probably the hardest tip of them all (trust me, I know). While warm brownies are practically irresistible, letting them cool for a few minutes helps these brownies get thicker, fudgier, and BETTER! Plus, letting them firm up more means less crumbly brownies when it’s time to slice them! So defy your natural instincts to dive into these brownies straight out of the oven and just wait it out, you can thank me later 🙂
– Swirl in some nut butter: When I shared my almond butter-swirled brownies on my Instagram stories last week, you guys went WILD. So Im here to tell you that you can ABSOLUTELY swirl in giant scoops of nut butters into your batter! Personally, Evan and I LOVE having Nuts ‘N More’s high protein spread swirled in. ESPECIALLY the Salted Caramel, Toffee Crunch, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavors!
